We ordered half duck take out, got home and we are so disappointed when we saw our dinner. The duck meat is very dry and the best part, the duck skin was just not there. The quality is absolutely classified as garbage. Please don't waste your money and save your stomach for other food...

Just tried out their Half Roast Duck with the option of Salt&pepper duck rack yesterday and it was extremely disappointed. Two issues: First, there were only 4 pieces of roast skin and the rest were meat/skin which means they either used a very small duck? or they ?? Second issue, they supply 12pcs of duck neck in this order of half a Salt&pepper duck rack; check the picture yourself; so was it an extremely long neck tiny duck?. Last, the only good part were those 4pcs of duck skin and their source, but the rest were just average.
Prices are on the high end side. However, you get what you pay. I've been to this place many times and I've not found a single dish that I dont like. The place is very clean, and hygienic. Food is delicious. \EVERY\ server especially managers is friendly and welcoming. Will continue to go to this place.
The food and service were ahead of my expectations. I really loved the vibes of this restaurant. Awesome spot to take my family out for lunch.
Great menu with wide variety of unique dishes. Especially love the appetizer noodles and salads (and I'm typically not a salad person). The duck which is their specialty is different from the Peking duck style at other Chinese restaurants in Toronto area. Extra thick & crispy skin and drier meat. I personally prefer the juicier style Peking duck served at other places which also serve you the entire duck and additional dishes with the remainder duck meat for half the price. But the Beijing style duck at QJD is good too and worth trying.
