Very good trip! Great value for money. The airline Hainan was excellent. Tour drivers were okay, the only thing I would complain was the fact that the hotels we used were located far from the city centers. The tour guides were all very nice and knowledgeable. The itinerary was fine, major city highlights covered and the visit to shops/factories ( jade, tea, silk, embroidery and pearls) were not more than an hour, and each site was generally very professional and good quality. Shanghai's old Chinatown was lovely, we would have liked more time here...I thought it was a bit rushed. Prefer less shopping area and more free time. The Summer Palace visit was rushed, didn't have time to go around and needed another hour easily. Overall the flight, guides, hotels was very good!

Can't speak highly enough about our Nexus Holidays trip to China\ I have to be honest and tell you that we did go comparison shopping for tour companies before deciding on Nexus Holidays. They won, hands down. We were 3 couples (all friends) who went on this trip. What was very helpful was that Nexus Holidays is worldwide. Two of our friends (one couple) lives in the United States, and through the Nexus Holidays office in New York, they were able to coordinate their holiday with ours and be on the same tour as us. The price of the tour was the big drawing factor, and that's how we got our friends interested in joining us. I will keep this short, because no one wants to read paragraphs and paragraphs. Nexus Holidays is extremely organized and smoothly run. The tour we took was the \China Epic & Yangtze 15 Day Tour\. Not only did Nexus Holidays arrange our international flights, they also got the Chinese Visas for us in a very timely fashion. They arranged for great accommodations in all the various cities we toured. All the domestic flights they arranged were also very organized and on time. Nexus arranged wonderful tours for us in each city and all were very educational, informative and eye opening. And I can't speak highly enough of all the tour guides we had. They were all very friendly, lots of fun and extremely knowledgeable. This trip ranks as the best trip we have ever taken ... and we do travel a lot. The memories will last us a lifetime. This trip was the best value for money we have ever spent. Would I recommend Nexus Holidays ... absolutely.
We did the 17 day China and Yangtze river cruise in May 2019 and the tour was amazing. The flights, hotels, train trips, river cruise and bus tours were all very well organized. All the tour guides spoke perfect English and gave us lots of local information of the places we were touring. Just understand that this is also a shopping trip as nearly every day they took us to a shop or factory for a tour and sales pitch. We went with Nexus Holidays and would highly recommend them as your tour company.
last year on April 2018 my wife and I took a 15 day vacation tip package to china mainland with Nexus, and since that time still we are more often think about it and enjoy from memories of that lovey time .it was impossible you can visit and enjoy from china unless you take an escorted tour like Nexus tours. everything was perfect . the East China airline was more than we expected .the hotels was unbelievable luxury and comfortable, the cruise was very good , the tour guides were educated and kind, food was acceptable especially breakfasts in hotels, site seeing was well arranged, every thing was over our expectation.
Last summer my wife and I went on the Dreaming Danube River Cruise for a 2 week vacation. It was the most relaxing and enjoyable trip. Sightseeing messages were informative and local tour guides were helpful in explaining the insights of the various attractions. The ship was moving at a comfortable speed so that we could have a good sleep at night. The next morning we were in another port, and had local cuisine to savor and a new venture to explore. Usually we have a local tour at about 10 am to learn something exciting for the day. You are free to go to the top deck to have an in depth perspectives of the surrounding sceneries in front and behind the ship and on each side of the river. Highly recommended for holiday travel!!
