Wanted to share an incredible customer experience with Jim at this location. He was diligent followed-up and got what i was looking for. You do not get this type of service at any big-box/Amazon location. Shop local and you'll get the local treatment. Thank you Jim

Went to pick up some charcoal for the bbq. The people in the store were very helpful, approached me to offer help. They even offered to help load up the charcoal to avoid getting dirty.
They never have any of the items that are listed in the flyer. My parents have been shopping there for years and 90% of the time they do not have the advertised items. During my mother’s most recent visit she went to get something from the flyer, and upon entering and asking to be pointed in the right direction to what she was looking for the manager said they didn’t have any in stock. She asked why they never had any of the flyer items in stock. The manager pointed out that they didn’t have thousands of square feet to store items, that is fair but she pointed out that they didn’t need to have hundreds in store but a few would be nice. The cashier piped in and said Tuesday wasn’t long to wait, my mom agreed but pointed out that we are in a pandemic she is a senior and they are to be limiting their number of visits. The cashier didn’t have a response and the manager proceeded to walk away and laugh at my mother. It’s hard to support small local independently owned businesses when this is the customer service that is received.
Not as big as HxxeDxpxt or CaxxdxxnTxxe, but it got all you want, and it sell the same thing cheaper than those two. And I found a safe cutter that has a very nice packing
The staff at Markham Home Hardware is amazing, never once have I felt they have out their interests over mine. I went in today thinking I’d need to get a new toilet, they suggested I try replacing some gaskets and a few other things before making that investment. Murray, Doc and Deb always go above and beyond for their customers. I cant recommend them enough!
