Just recently had my party there- had over 95 people show up. Very accommodating was able to get my entire area sectioned off for the party. Nice ambient feel along with great service from all ends from entrance, to bartenders and security. Music was very well accommodated for the crowd I was actually very surprised. Overall a very pleasuring spot to be especially for a special event!

It has been rumoured lately that the low number of people coming to this location now is due to the DJ Bruno music. I do not believe this is the case. If you allowed more women in for free and had a happy hour, it would pick business up and stop people from switching to Ivy. Just sayin..... Don't blame the DJ!!
DJ need to upgrade Place is great but no sound system that you can actually feel the music---- better DJ more crowd ower should look into it!!! Business loss due to DJ and service!!#

I booked a dinner reservation for my birthday and was pretty disappointed with the whole experience. At first, they were very accomodating (I had originally booked for a larger number of people than actually showed up) and the gentleman that seated us was very welcoming. Once everyone got there, it took forever to get our watered down drinks and the food was warm at best. The portions were small and everything was wayyy overpriced (12 for a small martini... 12 for 5 tiny coconut shrimps) My friend ordered a burger with cheese and bacon... And they actually brought the burger with a kraft singles slice and one half-dead piece of bacon on a side plate.... We had to ask numerous times for more ketchup and water and some of the staff started being rude because we kept reminding them. When it came time to get the bills only then did they mention that they don't do separate bills and that they only took visa or cash. We then had to split the bill up ourselves and go into the back kitchen to ring it through with the waitress. It took forever! We should have been told when I was booking the reservation that they only take visa or cash and that they don't split bills... Not when I'm ready to pay. And I definitely shouldn't get attitude about it. As customers, we had no business being in the kitchen where things were lying all over the place. If it were me, not only would I not let my kitchen be in such a state but I certainly wouldn't be brining customers into it to see it all. Though the gentleman who initially greeted us gave me two free drink tickets for my birthday, it doesn't make up for all the other disappointments in the slightest. It's a nice venue but I won't be back to Dirty Martini.
