Relatively new library and community center. Small play area for kids great for family with kids. Make sure to get parking ticket stamped at library for free parking when visiting library, no need to pay for parking. Great selection of books and movies to borrow. Overall clean and comfortable.

The Cornell Library is an amazing well maintained public resource. Anyone living in the Markham region is allowed to check out books, movies and games. It houses a brilliantly maintained kids section of books. Cornell Library is located in the Cornell Community Building which also houses a pool. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. Overall it's an amazing place for anyone trying to work on their own or study. Highly Recommended.

Parking is always annoying here. All the other community centres in Markham have nice and big parking lots except for Cornell. They have underground parking and street parking which is annoying. Fun place for the kids to play. They have a great kids playing section. Love that!

Water at the swimming pool is usually clean, has lots of life jackets, pool noodles, and toys. Very large cold pool and a very warm hot tub. A fun slide for kids, a splash pad for babies and is a great place for parents to have fun with kids. The library is also pretty much clean but doesn't always have the book you wanted to borrow. Also the books are sometimes a bit torn and ripped but still are good.

This library has a wide selection of books for all ages. If the book you want is not available at Cornell Library, you can easily place a hold of the book from another branch in Markham via the bibliocommons website. The children's section also has a wide variety of board books and toys for infants to toddlers. They also seem to get new books and toys all the time. Whenever we visit with our daughter, there are usually many kids of all ages playing or taking part in one of many library activities. Overall, a very great library.
