The jury's out. I have been waiting 6 months for a yay or nay on CBL being able to recover my data. I'm a patient businessman obviously, but 6 months?? This was a 1 year old internal Hybrid Seagate drive that I used sparingly but one day it just didn't show up on my desktop. Will wait a couple more weeks, then post a real review.

I assume they are good for businesses and not for ma as an individual who wants to recover his family photos from a failed hard-drive and their proposed price was 700 . They appear to be super professional in what they do and good for companies which they want to recover their valuable data off the drives and servers.

I brought my hard-drive to Canada Computers to be repaired and they sent it to CBL. They quoted me 2000 to recover the drive so I declined and requested my hard-drive returned. When I took my hard-drive to another lab (that quoted me 1200), they opened up the drive to find it was covered in dust. CBL had taken parts from my hard-drive and replaced it with dust-covered, heavily damaged parts from another drive, which damaged my drive further. How can you straight up steal parts from customers and cause irreparable damage and get away with that?

CBL went over the customer service guidelines that all Canadian companies shall adopt. I am extremely impress by the service provided by CBL and I highly recommend CBL, if you have troubles with new technologies.

After taking my external hard drive to a computer technician and he couldnt fix it i was so devasted cause all my son memories was on that drive....but Tim recover all my precious memories within days .i thank him soo much and i am very happy with the service...highly highly recommend this place....thank you Tim you are very professional and i am beyond happy:) with the service
