Customer service excellence! For a repair of two hot tub leaks my husband arranged with Bonavista for a next day appointment. Their professional and ‘masked’ team of Blair & Alex arrived on time and provided very courteous and professional service. It wasn’t until we filled the tub, after their departure, we noticed two new leaks at the heat exchanger and pump. We called Bonavista and within the hour their ‘Dream Team’ of service guys Blair & Alex returned to fix these too. Well done Bonavista! Thank you.

Thrilled to enter my first google review for Rob Irvine and Bonavista Pools. Our Hydropool executive swim spa, purchased from Rob, arrived in our backyard 3 days ago. Best sales experience I've encountered, ever. Add a pandemic, and I am amazed at how well Rob and Bonavista responded. Professional, communicative, thoughtful, caring, with an excellent understanding of their product and their customer's needs. Highly recommend Rob and his team. Equally recommend the swim spa to maintain good health. My family and I will be swimming 365 days a year! Thanks for having such a positive impact on our family in such challenging times.
Beware of using this company for anything! I used them for a 3 year period for general maintenance and overall management of my pool. I had issue after issue with them. 1) They were scheduled every other week to come to balance the water and do general maintenance. They would then fill out an electronic card to let me know they had been there. Not only did they not come on a few occasions but I had to actually go through all of my NEST Video to prove it to them. Their response? \Oh sorry - ok we won't charge you for that day then.\ What? Gee thanks! 2) They replaced a heater with a brand new one. The very next year the brand new one went. Their response was that it fell 1 month over the 1 year warranty. Im sorry but if I pay 5000 for a new heater, I expect it to last more than 13 months! They ended up telling me I still had to pay another 2500 and took the old unit. (which they likely got reimbursed for) Overall, after asking for a credit for this bad service they simply said no. When I refused to pay my outstanding bill they sent me a threatening letter. This could have all been avoided with acceptable customer service. But they didn't choose that route. Very disappointing. I don't write negative reviews very often but this company really deserve this.
Would not recommend these guys based on our experience.
BonaVista built my pool in the early 70s when they were still ValMar. It’s always been an amazingly built pool. My father was a friend of the original owner. We always received great service. Until last year. We needed it sandblasted and painted. It took over 2 months. The weather was partly to blame but not completely. I felt like an afterthought. It cost 15,000. Then after it was done I had filter problems. It took at least 3 different visits by mechanics that cost more per hour every time to fix something that was not that complicated. When I suggested what it might be I was treated like I didn’t know what I was talking about. I’ve only had this pool my entire life. And when my father contacted Melissa to speak with his continued calls and emails were ignored. I’m so disappointed. I will probably still get my chemicals from Jennifer but will not be having my pool serviced by them. Too bad after being a customer for 50 years.
