What a pleasant surprise. It was my first time visiting the park and was captivated by the trails. It was a bit mucky and slushy. That didn't stop me from enjoying the hike. There are a few other trails that are interconnected. I look forward to my next visit.

Bob Hunter Memorial Park is nearly located in Markham. Very clean and pleasant walk. Parking lot is big, you can easily find a parking lot on Sundays. There are two charging station for electric cars. The parking lot is muddy but nothing to worry about. Very nice for families with young kids and dog owners. Dogs must be on leash. All is all very pleasant experience. There is another trail which is connected to Bob Hunter if you want longer walks.

Beautiful for a winter hike! Wool a few hours to do the whole perimeter while taking our sweet time and stopping for photos. I recommend a late afternoon hike ending at sunset!

This walk is quite good. Many people come to here for biking. The walk is surely more enjoyable during autumn and winter or spring, (but NOT SUMMWR TIME, because there are less coverings. It would be extremely hot and sunny, with the sun beating on your head! So a star is taken off) It's OK stroller-friendly. There are varieties of things to see. We encountered quite some butterflies during our walk. People are allowed to go fishing in this area, but some species cannot be taken home, like crayfish. There are birdhouses being built along the walk, so there are chances to see some birds. After a smooth walk, it goes into a valley, and the road becomes narrower. But the view is good. At the moment, a part of the walk is blocked so a longer walk is expected.

A wonderful park for walking and some beautiful trails along the Rouge River. My favourite is the Wishing Well trail that's about 6000 steps. Dog friendly and lots of parking.
