I’ve been going to this library for the past several months now since I’m studying for my certification exams. I gotta say when the library recently opened it was much cleaner than it is now. It seems like the cleaning staff are doing a very poor job at wiping study desks and cleaning up rooms. Every time I get a room, I find hair and food particles on the study desk which is disgusting! So much that I have to ask for Lysol wipes myself to clean the desk. Most of the time I am one of the first people to enter the library so the staff should not just assume that the desks got dirtier during the day, they were actually never cleaned before library opened up. Also, the noise level at this library increases astronomically after 3pm when high school students start hanging out here. It really becomes a play ground with small children screaming and running around and librarians turn a blind eye. This main study section of the library is very open and it’s easy for anyone to scream at the end of the hallway or on the first floor and be heard throughout the second floor. I think the staff needs to implement strong rules to keep this place quiet, it’s a library not a socializing spot. Although to be fair, there is a quiet study room, which obviously gets completely packed if you plan to come to library after 3:30pm. All in all, I think this library has a lot of potential to be a good study spot if you’re looking for quiet study you can book a room at the back of the second floor or sit in quiet study room (if you arrive early). I’m writing a detailed review in the hopes that the staff would actually read it and possibly take action. I truly appreciate their efforts and genuinely want this library to serve the purpose of education and knowledge for years to come.

This is a great library - new building, bright, big windows, very cozy place to study and friendly staff. My only complaint (which is why I give this a 2 star rating) is that the study desks are never clean. I always have to ask the staff for disinfectant wipes to clean the tables and chairs myself. Although the staff are always kind to provide the disinfectant wipes free of charge, it is still very inconvenient as it wastes a lot of my study time to have to clean it myself every single time. It is really unhygienic and gross as there is always lots of food crumbs, lots of hair, and stains on all the tables. I come here when the doors open in the morning and it is very obvious that the cleaning staff never came to clean the library the night before. Although I have seen staff vacuuming the floors but they do it during the DAY when people are studying so it makes sooo much noise and distraction. I really hope they listen to people's concerns/reviews and make positive changes as this library has a lot of potential to be a great place for people to study, but people have been complaining of this issue since over a year ago and no changes have still been made. :( P.S. I also understand that the library is always in use during the day so it will obviously get dirty while people are here, but it would be nice to have the library cleaned during closing hours so that in the morning, when people arrive, they will be welcomed into a clean and fresh library space- that would really make a better first impression for those who come into the library in the morning.
Aaniin is a very diverse space - with amenities for adults children, readers and non-readers alike. The library can get a bit noisy during school months when the highschoolers get off of class. That aside, it is a cozy place for private/group study and reading.
New and Clean library with kind personnel, but needs a better management. The quiet study area is more like the children playground! Few recycle / garbage bins. The tables are not cleaned daily, One can take many seats, rooms, by putting belongings and no place for others to use the library. Someone need to supervise the second floor regularly.
