A main spot to see in Goslar, this city is literary beautiful with a lot of beautiful buildings. On the top of the Hotel, there is a small door to open and a small statue from inside like in classic clock. This city is famous of Witch festival and if you can see a lot of witch souvenir in the shops around here.

Love this place. Even the weather can't spoil the feeling of such authentic, old and beautiful history. An eagle is the symbol of Goslar, you will find it here, the touristic center is also here, buy there a witch or an eagle as a souvenir.

Walking around Goslar was one of my favorite experiences while visiting the Hartz mountain's. A beautiful city I would like to visit again.

A town that has been true to the History of Germany. I has been preserved in the age old fashioned and should be visited should you wish to see how Germany centuries ago used to look. During the winter is an amazing Winter Market that is truly warm and inviting even when the weather is not. There is a mine close to Goslar that is a few centuries old that offers tours into the depths of the mountains for those brave enough to go underground. There are many shops, restaurants and hotels so plan to spend some time in this beautiful little town for a truly German experience.

It is a wonderful Christmas market, you can find all the typical Christmas market offerings here. Having said that, it was very crowded when I there. There is a Christmas tree forest middle of the square, shouldn't be missed.
