Ok 1st of all this is NOT a 5star hotel so be clear on that. What it is, is a little bit of peace and quiet (quiet compared to the hustle of real life that is) remembering that this is a working farm with all of the noise that comes with. So if you want glamour and glitz then avoid. However if you want to reconnect with the family minus the tv, games console etc then this is the place for you. We as a family absolutely loved it and with a 18 and 14 year old in tow we thought they would be bored... How wrong we were. They enjoyed it more than us we think. Yes there's no electricity and yes in the cold dark nights the lights may not be the best... But this is not the ritz. Its glamping. It has everything you need but not everything you may want. The hot tub is fantastic, the fire inside is lovely and warm, enough wood in the shed when needed (yes its a steep hill to get there but that's what the kids are for to involve them) and as for Ellie, she's amazing and so welcoming and was our own \uber\ taxi.. But pretty sure that she would help anyone if needed. All in all we absolutely loved it and hope to return 1 day

We went unfortunately in the heavy rain so were not able to go and explore. Didnt pack wellies either . By time we got our stuff to the tent our things were wet. For 350 for one day there would have expected towels to be provided. The light from solar panel didnt work as no sun. Really struggled to get fire goin and ran out fire wood and was not able to get any more as too far to collect it. Hot water bottles leaked on the beds. And the trampoline out front was dangerous and not fitted properly with my son getting stuck in it.

Such a beautiful setting, the safari tents are just fantastic and wonderfully kitted out. Lovely hosts, incredibly welcoming ensuring our stay was just what we all needed. Thank you

Brilliant place... can't recommend it highly enough, especially if your group occupies both tents.
