i am in love with this place. whenever we visit family we always make sure to go to the market cross. it’s cozy, friendly, beautiful and delicious there.

Fabulous home cooked food. The salt and balsamic chips were the best cooked chips I've ever had, wonderfully light and crispy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside.
Lovely friendly place with fantastic food and drinks (highly recommend the cheese ploughmans) As a business an absolute inspiration to others on showing diversity during the current covid crisis by building an amazing garden room for customers to socially distance better in. Always a pleasant place to sit in the sun and watch the world go by. Dog friendly. Cakes are delicious. Wine not too bad either and sensibly priced. I just wish would open a bit longer.
The work done here to protect us all is fantastic, you feel completely safe, oh great food & drink too
