Where do I begin? This is an exceptional village store and post office. It reminds me of the one I used to go to with my grandmother, here in Somerset. Sadly the charm & authenticity of the old village sTores & PO, 40 years ago (my goodness I can’t believe the time, I was nine) has !petered out. So many closed I believe. Anyway, Mark’s Store & PO is simply wonderful. They stock a huge variety of grocery essentials, an exquisite range greeting cards, hot & cold snacks, cakes, as well as gifts and dog there’s so much more! much of this certainly appears to be supporting local suppliers. They have the best coffee ever, that’s a machine coffee! Beats any others I’ve used! There’s a car parked & even tables & chairs outside the front. This is a beautiful spot, especially when sat there in the sunshine despite it being right in the road. Clearly the area is friendly. My dog and I have found Mark’s PO such a warm & friendly place, and I’m writing as someone who doesn’t reside here! I give the owners the biggest applaud ever. They are a delightful couple or work tirelessly always with a smile on their face . The place definitely needs to be entered into a competition if one exists for village PO, there must be one?
