A must visit place if you are in Barcelona. Rich cultural exhibition with amazing ships. So fascinating to see how Spaniards pulled it to South America

Interesting museum with some cool items, however not extremely mind-blowing. Good to visit with children, nicely organized with all information available in English

Nice old building with an interesting exhibition about ship construction and sailing. Highlight of the entire storytelling is a galley.

Being a student of nautical archaeology and a big history lover I fell in immediate love with this museum. It did not hurt that I was able to escape the shopping and tourist hordes to be found in other parts of Barcelona. To be sure, the most eye-catching display is clearly the exquisite full-scale reproduction of the Royal Galley. It’s location under one of the grand arches, very much like many of the ships built here in centuries past gave the impression of a cathedral dedicated to ship building. Any maritime history lover or any lover of sailing or boats will enjoy spending hours here. Great multi-language support on the signage.

Great museum for kids between 7 and 15. Well prepared exposition highlighting marine history of Barcelona and featuring stunning historical vessels, interactive experiences and many more. There's also a great cafe to stretch legs and have coffee or beer after visiting the museum.
