Great out of the way place! We were taking our children for a ride across the ferry at Cave-in-Rock IL and found this place with a little exploring. We were there in late June, so the greenhouse part was all but shutdown - but judging by their landscaping, we should have come earlier in the year. So many beautiful flower pots, planter beds, etc. The bakery was open and we got some fried pies, fresh - still warm banana bread, lemon bars, and eclairs - everything was wonderful! (I haven't tried the banana bread yet, but I have no doubt it will be delicious.) We will plan to go back in the fall for mums and for sure in the spring for flowers and plants!

Saturday’s in the summer they smoked pork and offer sandwiches (5) or by the lb (8.25-8.50) It is hands down some of the best eating you can find! The fried fruit pies are worth the trip alone (1.50) Prices as of 7/27/2020

Very good baked goods. We go at least 2 to 3 times a month sometimes more.

Great plants and delicious bakery items. We bought very large mums and jelly filled donuts that were twice the size as normal at the same price.
