Ok, pandemic fish n chips after work on my anniversary, not allowed out and couldn’t be bothered with restaurant prices just to take home to my kitchen table. So went to Mariners, OMG this was amazing, this fish was meaty, fresh and tasty, batter crispy and the chips were perfect. 10 out of 10 great meal, will go back.

I only leave reviews when service leaves an impression for whatever reason; Food always good, but this last visit, teenage customer 'service' left much to be desired. Just because you are the only 'fish' in the pond doesn't mean customers can be served with a degree of contempable disdain..

The website clearly says they are open on Saturdays 4pm-9pm but i have been calling them and taken a few journeys into overton to try and order but it hasn't been open. I understand that COVID may mean inconsistant opening hours at time but would be helpful if the website was updated to reflect this and improve customer service!
