Caught the take away as it was about to close, but the kind owner let us buy chips and coffee. The chips were amazing, the fishcake lovely, but not so keen on the sausage, didnt have any flavour. Coffee was lovely too. Thanks so much, we will be back when we are allowed again, we only travelled there today for covid jab, thanks for making our afternoon x
Fish undercooked and still raw, some of the batter mix was not cooked at all and still runny inside, scampi crisp on the outside but not cooked inside. Chips weren't anything special. I think this is one of the worst places Ive ate fish and chips. Will NOT be eating here again, would avoid at all costs.
Portion sizes are ridiculous 2.20 for a large chips that would feed a family in your local usually, but here not a chance. Curry sauce is half filled. After waiting in long queue for 40 mins you at least expect nice food. Some chips were translucent and undercooked. The woman who served us was nice. But she had 4-5 staff stood around doing nothing. I've seen so many business handle the covid situation so much better. Would not return.
Enjoyed a lovely bacon roll to take away with a very nice coffee to go
