It's rare, very rare in my experience, to get light, non-greasy, just cooked fish. It's rare too, if you do get good fish, to then get nice chips. & near impossible to also get tasty mushy peas! Marigolds consistently produces all 3! The small fish and chip meal is an excellent way to treat yourself, without the guilt of too many calories and on a budget! And it's the perfect size for my 83 year old Dad who cannot walk or drive now. He absolutely loves his Friday Marigolds fish tea.. & so do I! Friendly, efficient staff and clean, well organised premises. Best fish and chip shop I've been to and I've been to many in the UK!

Decent chippy. They also offer gluten free batter for your fish.
Nice friendly team, Gluten free meal at a good price, nice quality and taste plus nothing is served in plastic so less pollution. Only gripe was that they didn't reply to a question I sent via e mail.
