We had a great time attempting to solve The Ripper! The room was more challenging than we expected but the puzzles were sensible. The experience was mysterious and thrilling as we unlocked new areas and the room expanded. The host was helpful when we got struck and needed clues. Our group didn't solve it within the one hour time limit but we were pretty close so she gave us a fourth clue and let us get through the remaining puzzles quickly so we could at least see how it ends. I definitely want to try the other escape rooms at The Escapery!
The escape room and host were great, but during the event a cryptograph rolled onto the floor and the end came off. The host said it was fine and we continued on. After we were done we leave and when we get home we see a charge for 37. Poor customer service for not at least emailing or calling me about this before charging me.
We have done lots of escape rooms but the particular room that we choose was one of the harder rooms. Shine of them clues are so vague that you are not quite sure what to do with them. Also some of the pictures are so faded that you might actually miss what you are looking for. There are other rooms that I will try so it is still a place that I would recommend.
Our team had an absolute blast! We did the Curious Case room and it was fantastic! It was tough, but escaping it was so rewarding! The puzzles were really cool. Our host, Asheton, was phenomenal and super fun! Highly recommend for a date night, group of friends, family, you name it!
