I was referred here by a member of this church who randomly came up to me in a gas station store while waiting for my children to get off of the school bus. She asked if me and my children needed any assistance and stated her church could help if need be. I contacted the pastor who then stated that he was out of the office for a few days but would gladly pass along my information on to his assistance pastor who immediately contacted me to ask me to come in for an interview to see how they could help. I was short on time when I arrived because I did have to travel a long distance to get there and had to make sure I was back at my destination in time to pick my children up off of the bus. The pastor attentively listened to my story and journey. She gave suggestions and even prayed with me. Although the services they offered couldn't help with my need they did provide me with a couple of gift cards to use, which I am appreciative of. I am also very grateful to another one of their church members who overheard me speaking with their secretary about the urgency in getting back to my children on time. We were staying at a family shelter at the time and it was imperative I be there on time so she offered to take me back to the train station since I was very low on money and had spent my last few dollars to get there. Plot twist- she wound up bringing me all the way back to the shelter as she stated it was on her way home. It was SUCH a blessing because it would have taken me over a 2 hour commute to get back but only a 20 minute drive for her. God is so good and I am truly grateful for his godsend angels to come through and help me in my time of need. Thank you again for your southern hospitality. God bless you all.

I take my son to the PMO. They know him by name and he loves it there. He doesn't cry when I try to leave and he plays very well.
