Back in October I purchased two long sleeve shirts to go under my vest carrier for work. I tried one shirt on, it fit, and the employee helping me said she would get the same shirt and have the patches put on both before I left. When I arrived home I removed the tags and washed both of the shirts, under the assumption the shirts would be exactly the same. About two days ago I tried on the second shirt for the first time (which was supposed to be the exact same as the first) and it was far too big. Today, I returned to Galls to speak with them about the issue. Obviously, after two months the tags had been removed. I was treated like someone trying to con the employees out of money. They said then not I could not prove I purchased the second shirt from their store without tags, even though they could see the receipt in their system, both shirts are made by Blauer, and both have my department patches on them. They made it seem as if I was trying to return a shirt I bought somewhere else and trick them into giving me another. These shirts cost almost 50 each. As a police officer I don’t just have another 50 to throw away on another shirt. The second shirt they sold me and refused to replace is far too big and looks sloppy. Galls serves first responders yet as a police officer I was treated like a con man. In addition to being treated like a bad guy the employees who assisted me were not polite throughout the experience. I will NEVER shop here again and will ensure all of the other law enforcement officers in my network are made aware of this experience. Shame on you Galls.
Excellent service, friendly and knows their products. Will design products and badges. Great seamstresses. They appreciate your business.
Karen Nowakowski, Mamma Fran and the entire team of the Marieta Location of Galls are awesome. They give excellent customer service and product quality.
I walked into this store to buy a new mourning band to honor a Hall County deputy killed in the line of duty. To my dismay, neither of the two women working the sales counter even knew what a mourning band was! Once a third employee got involved and explained what a mourning band was, it took several minutes for the staff to figure out where the bands had been stashed. To top off the insult with injury, Gall’s charges 6.99 for a mourning band... 6.99 for a small loop of elastic with a blue line embroidered across the middle of it! Were this not my agency’s chosen and specified company for equipment and uniforms, I’d never set foot in the place again, as this is only the latest and most egregious in a long string of pitiful customer service incidents I’ve had with them.
