I saw a few comments on how this place is expensive or non-authentic. Both I'd disagree with: -The non-authentic criticism wholeheartedly disagree. -The expensiveness - ...well, kinda, but hey, finding quality Mexican food in France is a tough proposition. You can't expect it to be cheap like McDonald's. I do find the place a bit cramped, especially with little kids or big groups, ...but alas, finding a quality property for the owners of this place would be a big challenge in Montpellier no doubt. The location is good, close to city center and train station. I've always found the staff to be friendly. I am sure there can be long waits some times - such is the restaurant business after all.

Soul food! If you watch the dishes get prepared, you would know they will taste awesome which they do.
A bit pricy and not extremely authentic but a good place to try. Definitely a plate is very very filling
Super!!!! I went there to meet friends with my husband and we love the food we had! I finished my plate!! Too much for me but I just can't stop! And it's not expensive. We will go again for sure and I miss the lemonade Mexican already!

I can't judge properly a Mexican restaurant because I don't know perfectly how it should be but this seemed very nice. The only problem is that there aren't many seats.
FINALLY!!!! A real Mexican food restaurant in France, Finally. You have no idea how happy I am. I have lived here in France 7 years and have longed for a real Mexican burrito, natcho's, and tacos! When I bit into the natchos, I felt home again in the states, and when I bit into the burrito I swear, I felt I was eating at my favorite Mexican restaurant in California that I missed so much. Everything was outstanding! Thank you Maria Cantina!!!! This place is a must and definitely worth driving through Montpelier for!
