Hello Just like to say thank you so much for our Valentines afternoon tea , the food was incredibly tasty and there was so much we had some of it in the evening also , definitely five stars for this restaurant, thanks again.

I almost don't want to tell people how brilliant The Ambrette is so that it stays my own secret. It is amazing, properly amazing. The staff are beyond excellent they are helpful and have a wide knowledge of not only the menu but also other places to eat locally and are keen to offer ideas for you to continue your day/weekend/ holiday. And the food... Oh my word the food. Forget any ideas you have about knowing anything about food and just try anything that is suggested, holy flipping wow. I genuinely can not express how brilliant the dishes are, the only thing you can do is just go and try it yourself. Do book ahead though, seriously book because you don't wanna be upset that you can get in.

OMG home delivery of Prosecco Afternoon Tea for 2. Well a veritable feast. Truly scrumptious - food selection fantastic, great value for money. Thank you for a different kind of Friyay takeaway/delivery.

I went for mother's day with my daughter. The food is amazing, the staff are friendly and welcoming. Since then I have had quite a few takeaways., the roast dinner is best I've ever had, including what I cook myself. Definitely recommend to anyone. Don't forget that they do takeaway whilst we are in lockdown.

We went on a Sunday evening and enjoyed the meal and the cocktail promotion. The Sunday roast had some interesting twists such as an onion bhaji and indian spiced roast potatoes. The meat was very tasty and tender. The bottomless vegetables were not as forthcoming as advertised - but we did get some items.
