I shouldhave followed my gut instinct and avoided him but the last reviews he has had have been positive and the sites he has done for others mean he is a good designer but not for me. Myself and my wife are out of pocket to the tune of 900 pounds that we cant afford. My wife works for the NHS and i got made reedundant so this was her salary paying to get me started up again. Shoddy work and shoddy human being. Anyone needs a new kitchen let me know

I changed hosting earlier this year to Thanet Web Design from another host provider. Glynne has been brilliant helping me set up my account. I was having trouble due to my lack of knowledge and he was very patient even offering to come by and set everything up for me. My website has returned to page one since relocating to Thanet Web Design and I have nothing but good things to say about Glynne and his services. Highly recommended!
We are being held to ransom by Thanet Web Design which is Glynne Turner effectively. He says we can't host the site with anyone but him or we don't get the site. He has made all sorts of drunken threats about us removing this review. It was meant to be a 4 week job. 4 months later we are down financially and no closer to having a site. Granted, there was extra work involved but we were very fair and offered to pay more. We paid double. Alarms should have rung when he said he needed the balance before we could see the final site published. Naively we paid. We didn't think people would behave like this especially to a good cause. We feel trapped and have lost valuable time and money and got nowhere. Now he says the logo is his property too despite us paying him. I would avoid Glynne Turner and Thanet Web Design. He is very professional sounding at first. If its any more than a basic webpage you're going to regret dealing with him. Its a one man band operation and if things are not going well he will ignore your calls and emails.
