I phoned Ken as I required a gear adjustment on my bike and was able drop the bike to him at 5pm the same day. I received a call at 9.30 the next morning to notify me that my bike was ready for collection. My gears are now perfect and Ken had also tightened a few other loose parts on my bike with me asking him to. When I collected the bike, Ken gave me valuable advice about my bike and has told me that if the gears need another adjustment in time due to the new cable stretching, he will adjust them free of charge, there and then, if I go to his shop. The service was friendly, the price for the work was very reasonable and the job was completely perfectly.
We had the most amazing day thanks to Ken, he rented us three bikes but at one point in a beach we lost the key to one of the bike locks so we were stuck, and he came to our rescue with his car and luckily he even had a spare key to open the lock so he did not charge us more! Really kind and thoughtful we will never forget.
Husband rented a bike for the day - phoned the night before- all easy and good value.
Brilliant! The only place to go to rent bikes in Margate, very reasonable price (15 approx for a day) and he is such a gentleman as well. My advice would be to phone ahead regarding a rental booking , the website is only for information purposes mainly.
