I can't say enough about Marcair. I talked with several flight schools in the DFW area and Marcair without a doubt prepares you to be a safe eal world\ pilot. The detailed curriculum each student is required to go through is above reproach. If you want to be a well prepared pilot I can't stress Marcair enough. I've had the pleasure of working with Levi and he's been a great instructor. Each stage check has been thorough with Chief pilots Gilbert and Brooks. Ground school you say??? Their staff (Jonathan was great!) is very knowledgable and ready to get you schooled up! When it comes to dispatch, Shannon, Bobby, Tara and a big shout out to Austin are all there to work with you in every way. Everyone else I've met has been just as friendly. You'll be doing yourself a favor to check out Marcair! What are you waiting for????? Go Fly!

Took my FAA Airmen Knowledge test here to fly my drones commercially. Very nice people. Nice facility.

I’m an ATP-rated pilot myself and sent my son to this flight school. I’m sorry I did. Marcair isn’t so much a flight school as a magic show school that’s really good at making your money disappear. This flight school also isn’t really interested in your success. I’d describe it more as ambivalent. You will do your training one way... their way (which isn’t always in your best interest). Don’t expect a lot of communication either. You will drive to the airport with no communication only to discover your flight instructor either canceled your lesson or otherwise has an excuse to not fly...but you will get ground school (and all the associated charges for said ground school). Somehow all of this will be your fault. In fact everything that goes wrong will be your fault. I’m in the pilot training business myself (at a higher level) and I have spoken to many others that have had the exact same experience, so it’s not just me. I’d give them 1/2 a star if that was possible.

Good school with a detailed course that prepares its students extremely well. I got my Private Pilot from here, and loved every minute of my training. My instructor Paul was a very good teacher and taught me well! I get compliments on my flying all the time.

The bureaucrat’s flight school...If you want to have little control over when your flight lessons are scheduled then come here. You will not be able to work directly with your instructor to schedule flights and your schedule will be determined by dispatchers who act as a barrier for everything including simply walking to a training room to meet your instructor when you enter the building. Also be prepared to spend plenty of time on the ground with your instructor going over things you already learned in your study program at home which of course you will be charged for.
