Just go and dig the surroundings of Marazion and its Marshes, its Mount and its Beaches then throw in a Picnic and a Sunset...sorted...a day to remember...;D

Pretty location. Shame it's expensive to park & no winter freebie parking. Great cafe & gluten free cake there though!

Visited today and had arranged to meet a friend there who has not been to Cornwall before. It was card payment only via a human being and sadly her card wasn't working and they don't accept cash which is understandable. My friend explained that she was meeting me shortly and that I would pay, which of course I did but,as I was driving I was unaware of the situation. My friend was asked to park in an area near the ticket shed and wait for me, on 3 occasions one of the male attendants told my friend that she had just 5 more minutes then she would have to move.My friend asked why as she knew I would be there and would pay but the guy told her that it was staff parking only and she would have to move, despite her being told to wait there.. Also as my friend was new to the area she didn't know where she would go from there and worried that she would miss me. Yes, welcome to Cornwall where tourists are made so welcome and harassed when in time of need in a virtually empty car park.. When I arrived the ticket attendants asked me if I was waiting for someone and I said yes and they said I had to pay for her, no problem 8 just like that in a still virtually empty car park where I was unaware of my friends problem until she came and found me and was by then quite upset.. I asked her to point out the guy who gave her the trouble and I asked him politely to apologise, which he did... So, I won't recommend the car park there, I'll suggest another more friendly location where there are machines and not attendants....
