A perfect place to spend an afternoon or a morning, stroll around the magnificently maintained castle. The gardens only maintained by 4 full time gardeners, perfectly place plants for all to enjoy... very pleased with how polite the staff were.. delightful time was had... this time even got to walk over rather than take the boat.. a super sunny day was had.. give this place 5 *s

We booked online for the terraced gardens and the castle on St Michael’s Mount. Well worth a visit. I see some reviewers have complained about not being about to get onto St Michael’s Mount unless you had a ticket, but it is very clearly signposted on the website and at the car park. Fabulous gardens and amazing planting. Parking only 4 so very reasonable.

Beautiful day out and nice tourist spot full of history and beautiful scenery. The castle was great and loved having a chance to look inside, but surprisingly I actually enjoyed the gardens even more. They were absolutely lovely! Very steep climb however and there was one woman who passed us saying she had to go back down as she was afraid of heights and the walk through the very steep garden terraces had triggered her so word of caution if this might apply to anyone else. The gardens are very much built on a hill/cliff overlooking the sea.

Such an interesting and beautiful place. TOP TOP....you must book well ahead (we saw so many people being turned away) Staff were friendly and very helpful. we joined the national trust to support places like this! wear flat comfortable shoes too as loads of cobbled hills don't expect a full day out as its only open for a few hours on low tide.

A thoroughly good tourist experience. The walk from the car park to the castle is roughly 10 minutes. Expect a queue, unless it’s an early tide and you can get there ahead of the crowds. Going round the gardens was lovely, good views and even if your not into flowers or gardens it provides a enjoyable journey throughout.
