The Florida Keys Aquarium Encounter can be a wonderful experience for any visitor. There was a huge assortment of fish and aquatic species living healthy in multiple ponds, streams, and aquariums. I enjoyed learning about fresh and saltwater aquatic animals as well as feeding them and watching them interact. There are many speakers at the different stations throughout the day and the area was secure and comfortable. I highly recommend planning a day to visit if you travel through the location. All ages and all travelers could appreciate this fish sanctuary, thank you. I saw the largest brim of my life here and a peacock bass for the first time!

Had an absolutely wonderful time here. Staff is very friendly and engaged with visitors. Watched several feedings and took a (free) guided tour. One employee (Rachel) who was our tour guide and did several feedings is absolutely outstanding! Very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. Kudos to her!! Spent about 3 hours which was good to see everything we wanted. Didn't eat anything but it looks like they have a good variety of food. Excellent Covid protocols by staff. Absolutely highly recommend this wonderful place!!

It's a small aquarium but it is great for little kids. There is awesome encounters with wildlife feeding zones and a cute little gift shop. I suggest shorts and sandals as it's very sandy.

Beautiful place, not crowded at all. We were disappointed we didn't get to see the goliath grouper but feeding and petting the stingrays was quite an experience. We spent a total of 2 hours so overall not too much to see but the kids loved it, the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and happily answered any questions we had.
