As a lot of people already mentioned below in their reviews, this pub keeps and serves beer with very good manners unlike other shops in Korea. The owner who is obvisouly so passionate about his tap list seems to enjoy introducing rare types of beer to people. Mike's couple always welcomes people with great joy and pleasure. Mike, a beer expert with cicerone title, carefully chooses his tap list. Beer fans can taste rare and unique beer served in perfect manners here. Food menu including American style pizza is what you must have at this pub. They are so good and some people come here only to eat them even without beer! Even its fried chicken tastes so nice! Won Nation Brewing Company is no longer a hidden gem only for few beer enthusiasts. It is a popular gathering spot for nice folks who enjoy beer and its open atmosphere. You can make freinds here while having quality beer and food. I am so proud of Mike's couple who achieved this successful business in a year and hope they keep doing their best.

had a really great time here. went to this little place 2 times during a week in Seoul. apart from the very nice variety of local/import tap & bottle beer, the owner and his lovely wife just made my day. You can see their passion & attention when they pouring a glass. Unfortunately that I couldn't try their recommend food. I'll definitely come back. So, just enjoy your time here. Time will fly really fast!
Saw the good reviews for this new place, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! Being a Certified Cicerone (a sommelier to beer) I am sometimes overly picky about how my beer is served. All too often in Korea good beers are destroyed by poorly maintained draft systems, bad pours, and dirty glasses. Luckily, Mike at the bar is also a Certified Cicerone and knows how to treat beer right! Proper glassware for each style, clean draft lines and efficient pouring kept their incredibly diverse portfolio of beers up to the brewer's original intent. Basically, some of the cleanest beers I've had in Korea! Keep up the good work, Mike! I need good, clean beer in my life... Fried chicken was amazing. Turmeric marinated, extremely juicy and the breading perfectly crisp, it was some of the best I have had. The fries had a delightful light breading which made them crunchy, but moist and tender on the inside. Will have to come back again for more food!
Had such a great experience at Won Nation that I went three nights in a row. The couple who runs it are great hosts. Mike is knowledgeable about his beer and the local beer scene and Jay makes absolutely delicious food. It’s a little craft beer oasis and worth a visit — or three.

It was a cool place, also has amazing pizza. The owners are a husband and wife. The wife is amazing cook while the husband is in charge of creating the brews. He has couple of his own brews on tap and it was really good. When I went he had is own IPA, lager, and porter on tap. It's very rare to find an IPA that's not crazy expensive in Seoul. He also keeps some other good brands on tap so there is amazing options for people to choose from
A little bit outside of the main area in Hongdae, but definitely worth the walk. Great staff whom both speak Korean and English. The owner brews some beers himself, but have a great assortment of other craft beers. And the food is really good, pizza Italian style, Korean chicken wings and some specialities. Can only recommend.
