I was delighted to find Dr Sophia Ahmed. She is incredibly patient, kind and considered. It is so refreshing to find a doctor who takes time with you and genuinely cares. I have become so accustomed to being kept waiting by medical centre doctors only to be hurried out of my appointment as quickly as possible. Sophia was running behind time but was very apologetic and explained why it was the case which showed respect for me and my time; a rarity in doctors these days. I was so impressed with Sophia that I booked my partner in straight away because I know he will be in safe hands. The staff are also lovely and I am so happy to have found this medical centre that is reasonably close to home.

I am giving Mapleton Medical Cenre 5 stars. The reception staff are always super friendly, and make you feel welcome. Very accommodating. Then there is the amazing Doctor Sophia. She has helped me deal with a fair bit lately. Dr Sophia takes the time to ask questions, and then she actually listens to my answers, and then works on finding sollutions. I felt very supported. I am glad to have Doctor Sophia looking after me. :)
Avoid Dr Monga at all costs. She's the worst doctor i've ever seen. Extremely rude, arrogant, and talks down to her patients. I'm actually surprised that she's still allowed to practice with such an attitude like that.
After being 45 minutes late for the appointment, Dr Monga was then rude and abrupt, responding "Well, what do you want me to do?" when I gave her my symptoms. Terrible bedside manner for a GP
Super friendly and professional staff, easy to make appointments , very thourogh doctors who take the time to get to know your whole history . Highly recommend
Wonderful people in this medical centre. Dr James helped my so much over the time I lived in Mapleton and the girls in reception always had a smile and helped me even when I was ill and grumpy. Thank you gang.
When we moved to Nambour 18 months ago, a 1/2 hr round trip, and with numerous GPs in Nambour, there was no question that we would continue attending Mapleton Medical Centre.The support and high level of professional attention we have received from the doctor, nurses and admin staff has been way beyond our expectations.
