St. Andre Bessette is a warm, welcoming and loving church. Attending mass here has helped me foster true spiritual growth. The church values community and does everything to support community efforts and initiatives. Fr. Peter's sermons are moving, encouraging and inspirational. Volunteers have done a wonderful job at building this church. Proud to be a part of this growing church!

When I think about how tough it is to be a parish priest.. the time it takes to come up with new and inspiring insights for his homilies every week; and visiting people in hospital and children in our schools. Being on-call 24hrs a day and all the weddings, baptisms and funerals. I realized, that it must have something to do with the devotion and giving to our community… it’s Fr. Peter's dedication, sacrifice and commitment to serve and love God with all of his heart, mind and soul. I’d give 100 stars out of 5 for his passion alone; but Is it really his job to go the extra mile, to get all of his parishioners into Heaven? When Jesus returns on the last day, will he find faith? If we claim to have faith but do not labour? Can our faith save us? What will happen when our new Church is built - Will there be bigger passion plays? Will it have more stain-glass windows or taller arches, will it really look like a Cathedral? Or, will our new parish be devoted to the life and vision of Saint André Bessette; who was a faithful friend and brother who loved all of God’s people. Do you have the time, talent and gifts we need to build our new Church and serve our parish community? Then come and join us. Saint (Brother) André and our parish - we need you!
While we are striving to build our beautiful new church at Major Mackenzie Dr West and Thomas Cook Ave in Maple, we gather for daily Mass at 9am (except on Sundays and Mondays) in the beautiful chapel at 2 Barletta Dr, Maple. We pray the Holy Rosary before Mass and The Chaplet of Divine Mercy after Mass. Fr. Peter Jae Choi is a very holy priest who celebrates a beautiful Holy Mass and always offers an interesting and educational reflection on the Mass Readings.
