The tellers here are great but as a bank, it's not. I had a blank debit memo charge pull 115 from my bank account which I did not approve. It's been two weeks now and I STILL have no answers as to where my money has gone. I have called every financial advisor at this bank 3 times now and have never got an answer. I've called their help line multiple times, with no results either! I just want my money back but their sticky fingers are obviously reluctant to give it back. This could be construed as a mistake but couple this with the fact that this bank insists on charging you a fee to have an account the second you have no money - really leaves you with a bad taste in your mouth. I've switched banks and I will be steering family and friends away from scotia as well.

I have been dealing with this branch over 15 years and I have always found them the nicest people . Tellers have been the most helpful compared to a lot of other banks and branches I visited.

Kyle Greene is the worst Financial Advisor I have ever seen in my life. He was just being racist and told me that I am not a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. He didn't provide me the help for the card that I wanted instead he was upselling Amex credit card to me and also told me that he can increase my credit card limit.... but when I applied my credit card online i got approved for my credit card due to my good credit score and he made comment on my credit card application that I am not canadian or permanent resident. I hope scotiabank will fire you as soon as possible. And in near future, you don't deserve to work in good banks like this.

worst banking experience ever... ! we got our mortgage(as first home buyer) from this bank and mortgage/financial advisor ruin all of sweetens of this with all of her misleads and wrong advises... we ended up : 1- challenges from CMHC after advisor officially confirmed our Mortgagee and 2 week before closing dates about you are not approved.! 2-- 22 years mortgage terms instead of 30 years (no advise from Adviser about this option to go at least for 25 years.!) 3- an expensive mortgage life insurance 4- open couple of super expensive account and credit carts that had to close them after with 450 total back charge... if your are new like us with this kind of financial needs, consult with financial adviser before go this bank for any banking/loan purpose or don't go there.

If ZERO stars was possible, that's what they would get! With the COVID-19 situation, they're closed at 3pm and on the weekends....this wouldn't be a problem if the ATMs were available when the branch is closed....but they're not! And so I am FORCED to use another bank's ATM, which charges me anywhere from 2.00 to 3.75 PLUS the 2.00 fee from Scotiabank for using another bank's ATM! My fees were over 50 this month! Scotiabank has ripped me off for the last time!
