A beautiful park for a walk any time of the year. Ample parking in the shoulder season, well maintained trails, and washroom (outhouse style) available. Reasonably steep hills leading to the ravine on either side and kids/pets should be watched closely.

This is a nice short trail (about 1.5km) with small creek falls. You get to enjoy the walk in the forest along with serene flowing creek scenery. You can also go little further to the salmon hatchery too. There's also signs for bears around the park but no such luck for me. ;)
What a lovely park with great viewpoints along the creek. Long meandering trails with changing elevations but nothing too extreme enough to keep it interesting.
We had a great day here. They have a cleared gravel hiking trail that is wide with bridges and stairs if you need them. We walked by the hatchery, hung out in the picnic areas, sat on benches throughout as needed. I also appreciated the garbage cans and recycling. We had our dog and I didnt have to carry his poop the entire time, which was nice. We will definitely be back.
Beautiful park with waterfalls, a river and interesting rock formations. It is less crowded than the nearby Golden Ears park.
