Absolutely dreadful......apparently the shop is sold and new owners in 2 weeks. All I can say is good. Soggy batter, overcooked fish, tepid unsalted mushy peas and chips that looked ill and cold. John Bull well, what on earth was that meant to be???never had one so badly cooked in all my life. Will give it a try when the new owners settle in - can't possible be as bad if they cook it with their eyes shut!

Good friendly service, clean & tidy. Takes card payments over 5 plus telephone orders. Order fish when you arrive so your fish is nice & fresh. Good menu selection plus children's menu. Love this fish & chip shop
