Had an amazing lunch today with a friend. I had the bacon roll and she had the chicken and avocado sandwich, both were delicious! Best bacon roll I’ve ever had!

The afternoon tea was lovely. The sandwiches were a great and the bread used yummy. Cakes were good too plus a good supply of tea.
A lovely tea room on the outskirts of Walgrave. A bit of a rough surface for cyclists to ride over initially but once there a quaint cafe awaits you. A lovely welcome for our cycling club was followed by excellent service. All the staff were extremely friendly and allowed us to pay whenever it suited us. The tea and cakes were fabulous. Decent slices as well. I had salted caramel which was exquisite. The surrounding farm makes it an even better experience. Various ducks and other poultry waddle about outside close to the kids playground. A really lovely place for tea and cake or their more extensive menu which we might try next time. A gem.
