Just had the worst experience from man lee in Couldson. Honestly the way I have been spoken to was atrocious! We ordered our food and was told it would be ready for collection in 40 mins. Turned up 45 mins to have payment taken and told it wouldn’t be long and to wait outside. At this time there was already 5 other people waiting and the phone constantly ringing for new orders. I then waited about another 20/30 mins to have orders that were placed after me collected. When I questioned how much longer our order would be I was faced with aggressive behaviour from 3 member of staff including one from the kitchen. All that kept being shouted was ‘what do you want me to do!’ ‘You can see we are busy’ and saying all our customers appreciate we are busy due to it being Christmas time. I totally did appricate this however being told it would be 40 mins and waited an hour all I wanted to know how long it would be. Once I took myself out of this situation of being verbally abused with no choice but to wait outside in the pouring rain until my food was finally ready all I could hear was her still shouting in the kitchen and just staring at me. My food was finally ready about 10 minutes after I complained as they clearly just started doing it. The food was nice however I’m not sure it was worth the service that was provided. I have never had a problem with there previously however I don’t think I would like to go back to there after knowing this is how they treat their customers.
Definitely the best Chinese takeaway and they deliver
This is the best Chinese takeaway in the country. On the occasions when Man Lee has been closed, and I've foolishly ordered from somewhere else, or when I've been away from home and had Chinese, I am always disappointed when comparing it to here.
I was refused to get served and turned back. Everyone was getting their food from there except me. Disappointing service.
