We gave this place a second chance tonight, as 2 weeks ago after waiting 1hr 40 and 1 drink, we walked out.... Very busy, more waitresses, but long wait for below standard food. Such a shame as we never had a bad experience eating here before lockdown.

Words cant describe how bad our meal was! Waitiled for 15 minutes to get a menu. 25 minutes to get our orders placed. It took absolutely forever to get our food and when we finally did I was extremely disappointed. Calamari was like a battered piece of rubber. The main course was even worse! Larger was so old and horrible wish we never ordered it. Vegetables which came with my main course were off and stunk really bad. Service was really bad, the worst one ever! Dirty dishes stayed on our table for ages, staff was inattentive and unprofessional. Shame this restaurant is at that level, we used to come here all the time. Saying that McDonald's would have been better than that! NEVER AGAIN!

I've eaten here a couple of times, as an all adults group and also with two young children. On both occasions the food, service and price were all excellent. The menu is extensive with specials as well. The staff are attentive without being pushy, and genuinely look for honest feedback to improve what is an already excellent restaurant. I'm pleased they offer something a bit different from the standard Italian beer selection, with some rarer Italian beers such as Ichnusa and Morena. I would ideally like some better craft beers and real ales available but I appreciate there may not be enough demand for that to justify stocking it. I would thoroughly recommended giving this a try, you won't be disappointed.
