Maneki Neko has been my go-to Japanese restaurant in Falls Church for the past 15 years. The fish is always very fresh, the sushi tasty, and the noodle dishes yummy and well-balanced. The staff is welcoming, kind, and professional. The owner, Tao, has a great sense of humor, and always up for a fun conversation. He brings Okinawa soba to the menu, a regional specialty from his hometown. The menu also includes some other harder-to-find delicious items like okonomiyaki, takoyaki, and nuta salads.
