We are an historical congregation, nearly 140 years old.  While we take great pride in our Manchester past, we are also committed to our present and our future.  We offer an opportunity for those who so choose to worship, study, celebrate and mourn together; TAY is also committed to making our community and our world a better place, and so we are actively doing ‘TIKKUN OLAM’ — repairing our world through ‘GEMILUT CHASADEEM’ — acts of loving kindness.  As Reform Jews,  we take seriously the mandate that each of us should make our own educated decisions about ritual and so you will find our families spread out across the spectrum of Jewish observance.  Each of us however, is dedicated to living an active and committed Jewish life, and we hope that if you are looking for a spiritual community to call home that you will consider joining the TAY Family. Please feel free to contact me by phone (603-669-5650) or by email ([email protected]) if I can be of assistance.  L’Shalom,  Rabbi Beth D. It's the temple I go to and great for seeking a job as a teacher. A good Bat/Bar Mitzvah program.

Our family joined several years ago, and our sons have been attending religious school here. We can't say enough good things about Rabbi Beth and all of the teachers and staff at the school. It's a very warm, welcoming environment. The brotherhood and sisterhood organizations do a great job supporting local charities and organizing interesting and fun events for the families and general public. We feel very fortunate to have found this temple. Rabbi Beth has a special ability to connect with kids and teach them in a fun, interesting ways. We always leave her shabbat services thankful that we made the time.

I have been a family member for over 40 years: our children (now in their mid-thirties) were both called to the Torah and confirmed at Temple Adath Yeshurun. After studying Torah with Rabbi Beth and others for six years, I finally decide to formally convert to Judaism, and became a person of the book myself in 2013. It is a warm and welcoming community where differences are embraced and celebrated.

I joined after returning to Manchester from southern California eleven years ago. After reaching out to two different synagogues (both close to my new home) the response I got from TAY was by far the most responsive. My schedule doesn't allow me to attend services very often, but when I do both the congregation and Rabbi Beth are warm and welcoming.

I grew up going to Temple Adath Yeshurun, and it’s still such a welcoming, great place to come home to. Top notch place of worship, with lovely new renovations, and Rabbi Beth Davidson is great!
