Bought a towbar for my 2008 Saab 9-3 Aero Convertible from them. I went for their own brand one and I am very impressed. Quality is very high (equivalent to the witter stuff I must say) and the instructions were clear. Even detailed how to remove the bumper etc. The amount of bumper that needed to be cut was minimal and it's barely visible from behind unless you get down and look underneath. Went for the dedicated wiring kit which came with a plug-and-play plug and a GM branded towing module. Delivery was super quick and plentiful updates on order and delivery progress. Would definitely use them again.

On the 2nd of Feb I Contacted PF jones for a CRV towbar fitting as I had a quote on their website and it came back at a reasonable price and had the benefit of mobile fitting. I contacted them via email advising I would like to go ahead with the quote a few days later I received an email advising that the fitting date requested was very close to the current date (10th Feb). I responded advising I am flexible to other dates and that there was no rush. I then did not receive any reply so on the 13th I sent a chaser email. On the 17th I received an email advising the next fitting date would be the 18th of March. I Agreed to this date as although I could do with it sooner I am not in a terrible rush to have it fitted. I then received an email advising that the Towbar I had selected is not in stock and that they have no ETA for when it will be back in stock. I would have thought at least they would check this before looking to book dates with me. Quite frankly waiting almost 2 months to have a towbar fitted is just ridiculous even with the current lockdown restrictions. I dont understand why something would show in stock when they know they don't have any stock at all. With the lack of communication and the massive dates between quote and fitting I feel I've probably dodged a bullet here. I will try a local fitter and hopefully they will have less than a month turn around and the sense to check stock levels before advising of fitting dates.

AVOID. Purchased a tow bar, installation and a bike rack (900) & the transaction was very smooth. Initial home installer left whilst admitting he hadn't checked it all worked, but would be fine - it didn't work. After 3 installer visits in total and 5-weeks & of me chasing and PF asking me to go out, take photos and buy new fuses for the parts they provided, it was fixed, confirming it wasn't installed correctly - not earthed. Mistakes happen, but I paid a lot for install and despite acknowledgement from PF throughout that it wasn't acceptable, the final conclusion was \we don't provide compensation\. Poor service considering the amount of running around I had to do having already paid for supply and install. I would not recommend
