I was prescribed antidepressants and when it came to getting a new load of tablets, the pharmacy didn't have it on record that my GP had put in the request. I got in contact with the doctors since the pharmacy couldn't help and they said the request had gone through. So I had the doctors and the pharmacy sending me back and forth, refusing to help and blaming it on either party. I understand these things happen sometimes but the doctors (and pharmacy) refusing to try and resolve the problem is simply negligent behaviour. I couldn't get my medication and it's dangerous to completely stop an antidepressant as it can make you suicidal. You're supposed to come off them safely, by having your dose gradually lowered but this wasn't an option for me since the doctors and pharmacy refused to listen to me or communicate with each other.

I have been having trouble getting an appointment to see my local GP and after suffering with pain for 2 days I phoned NHS111. I was referred to the walk in centre at Hawthorn Medical Centre, and I spoke to a lovely nurse called Kath who was so helpful and was the first person who had genuinely listened to me and I felt understood what I needed. She reassured me and sorted out a prescription for some painkillers and talked me through different options She is a real credit to the practise and I was so grateful to her for her expert advice. Thank you so much.

Awful Service - I have never met people in the profession of helping to be so unhelpful. Repeat prescriptions now ignored each month for 4 months. Left without any Tramadol for 2 days as didn't bother sending to chemist and then blame needed a review - A review that went - hello do you still need this - Yes I do - Ok then will send to Chemist. So bad I have now issued negligence claim against them. Not somewhere that you should visit if your ill

Should be no stars. Dont bother. Total attitude problem frim the so called nurse who rang back. All she wanted to do was argue. Very very rude and unhelpful. She eventually agreed to give me a prescription (before slamming the phone diwn on me ). When I want to collect the prescription I was greeted with absolute rasism. They totally ignored anyone who was white. They were only interested in the Asian people. Absolute disgrace. Should be closed down.

I had childhood epilepsy, which was informed to Dr Marshall in 2017 by myself and my parents as I was 16 at the time. I had been seizure free for 8 years. However, due to Dr Marshall and the GP’s negligence after being prescribed a medication. 2 weeks into the medication my epilepsy re-occurred. I’m now 20 and still on anti epileptic medication. If you value your health I’d strongly avoid this GP and medical “professionals” here.
