Husband just collected duvet and mattress protector from Dolly Grub..the man in the shop gave it to my husband without it even being in a laundry bag. It was just left on the counter. shocked at the service. its not the same laundry I used several years ago. It cost us 45 were going back to Village cleaners in Chorlton. Dolly Tub AVOID AVOID AVOID.
Visiting Manchester I thought there would be a number of Laundromats. However No. I found the Dolly Tub, took the washing. The young man was very helpful , clothes were clean,dry and neatly folded for not a large amount of money. I would go back again. Recommend.
I used their basic clean and dry service. I must say they do a pretty good job! The clothes are clean, and the service is fast...which is exactly what I need! Highly recommended! :)
I have been coming here for over five years and I'm sorry to say but this laundrette is dismal. Not only is the environment tatty and uncomfortable while waiting for your laundry to complete, the machines do not work properly and I had to figure out by myself that the 3rd machine is to be avoided as the cycle is so short that it does not wash the items clean and does not take conditioner. (At times I actually warned other customers away from it as they would not be informed!). In addition to this the water is rarely hot even when the hot wash cycle is selected. When customers complained the owner just did very little. However it was recently taken over by new owners and I was hoping that the essential changes would be made and when I went there two weeks ago, the first thing they had done was put the prices up! and my towels washed in cold water. When I complained the new owner just shrugged his shoulders-amazing! It's a shame because it has so much potential if renovated, all those ancient machines replaced and it managed more efficiently. Definitely looking to go elsewhere.
