The teachers care about their students at this studio. My daughter started out at this studio as a play date with her 3 year old friend. Now 15 years later we are finishing up senior year here.

Both of our daughters danced at VDC from 2nd grade until they graduated. VDC was a great match for them. They did not want to be in a competitive environment or on a dance team and my younger daughter did participate with the Dance Company (marched in parade and went to Senior Centers/community events) and was a lead dancer in several shows. These opportunities helped them grow as dancers and to build their confidence and self. All the teachers have years of experience with dance and many with dance degrees. They teach because they love it! They have a solid foundation of Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Pointe variations and learned from teachers with a huge heart, who set the standards high and nurtured every student. They helped develop each student and took a personal interest in their growth and technique. It was a wonderful experience and we'll look forward to next year's performance and watching the younger girls shine and have a great time!

I have had 3 daughters dance at Va Dance Center over the last 16 years. They offer high quality dance instruction that is age appropriate in a wholesome environment. Their storybook dance recital each year is a beautiful and artistic way to showcase the dancers talent as well as entertain the whole family. I especially appreciate the owner and instructors’ concern for the well being of each child, appropriate costumes and music selection. My oldest daughter attends college and was easily accepted into the dance company at her university where she is minoring in dance. Would highly recommend.
