Easily the best pastizzi and qassata I've ever had. In fact one of the best pastry items I've had after living and travelling all over the world. It's a must try especially if you are new Malta as you can't find this easily in other countries. It is made fresh daily and baked fresh on site by the owner Jamie. He is passionate, warm and loves sharing his tradition and culture. He told me it's a family recipe from the 1940's and his grandfather taught him how to make it. I first tried the spinach Qassata, the pastry is perfectly cooked, velvety, buttery and flakey. The filling is generous and full of flavour. The spinach is almost creamy without being mushy, has a bit of tang with the olives and is hearty. The pastizzi is flakey, soft inside and the bacon gives the mushy peas a nice saltiness. Great value at 1.50 for Qassata and 0.50 for Pastizzi especially considering its fresh and packed so generously. A locals favourite and a must try. Say hello to Jamie!

Good pastizzi. On crowded street. Quick service. Pizza and drinks available. Good for a quick bite. Take away only

I tried a lot of Pastizzi’s during my time in Malta and here are the best Pea pastizzi! The ricotta was a close second.

Came across a review a few minutes ago and not only did I not agree with the person bad mouthing the shop but I strongly disagree with her comment mostly because it was very rude to say that just because he misunderstood her and let’s be realistic if I’m not mistaken they only cost a few cents soo I’m pretty sure buying another one isn’t worth this drama. On another note being a person as health conscious as I am I wouldn’t even consider trying another pastizzi shop in Malta. By far Malta pastizzi has earned their name for best pastizzi in Malta for a reason but mostly for the freshness in their delicious food and cleanliness.

I told him to give me a spinach pastizzi and he gave me one with peas. When I told him that he did a mistake , he told me that I said peas and now I bought it. Very unfriendly!! Don't go there!!!!
