Our favourite hang out in the evenings when we were in Chiang Mai. There is a large variety of food to choose from, including Japanese and Korean options. And they are all well priced. There are a lot of shops too, selling clothes, bags, shoes, mobile accessories etc. But these are mainly targeted at university students, and the style may sometimes seem too young/cute. That said, I ended up buying 2 dresses. We liked this place so much, we came here every night when we were in Chiang Mai.

So this is a iconic market for campus students. There is bunch of food store and miscellaneous. All of them is students price. This place is suit for people who need variety of food. And enjoy shopping some gift shop. (There so many store. Maybe around 50-80 store.) If you come around August to May. It will be really crowded. Cause if student. But other month is just lower around 20%-30%. In prime time, you will hard to find parking for a car. I recommend that you can park in campus and just walking cross a street. But if you grab some motorbike. There will be always have a seat for you.
Most visitors are youngsters and students. Stalls selling clothes, accessories and food at very reasonable prices. There are red taxis stations opposite to 7-11 shop.
Wallet friendly night market as it is popular with students. Food and drinks were of a wide variety. Had some nice and local dinner there.
Absolutely great place to spend a few hours in an evening
