Jacqui and Brenna from Accentuate hair and make-up recently did the hair and make-up for myself, my mom and my 2 bridesmaids for my wedding. They were absolutely amazing!! They made us all feel so comfortable and we had a wonderful time chatting and joking while they got us ready for my big day. Jacqui's time management is impeccable. We were exactly on time for everything. The girls, my mom and myself looked amazing and our hair and make up lasted the entire day and evening without needing any major touch ups. Makeup was well applied with nice blending and it looked natural. The hairstyling was quite disappointing. Apart from not looking at all like the pictures we asked, it didn't really look nice in general. One of the girls actually restyled her own hair. As the bride, my hair was the most disappointing. ******Reply to response from owner****** Time was luckily not an issue, as the girls took on average 20min per person and not 45min as the schedule agreed upon. The groom simply stated that the next girl will not come after 20min, otherwise everyone will be ready hours before time. We therefore just kept to the times given by you. As for your suggestion that the groom picking the style being the issue, I disagree. The problem was that the result did not look like the images. You were also aware due to the fact that we are from Pretoria, we were not going to drive down for a trial. Furthermore, you gave us a document with the room requirements and we prepared a room that perfectly met those requirements. The girls then asked for an occupied room that did not meet any of the requirements, for example table space for all their equipment or seating for the girls. Perhaps you should bring your own mirror if you need it, or update your documentation to include a mirror in the room requirements, if you are not able to. On the day, I was not about to have hair and makeup affect our happy day. I just choose to give a review now based on the experience we had and included an image to demonstrate the expectation vs result. You can make it public if you believe it proves your point.
