Maize at the station!!!!! The Weekend special of birria tacos. THE TACOS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE FOR THE WEEKEND!!!!!!. Three birria tacos tacos are a must Try!!!! I came to maize for lunch with a friend today & I was blown away by the tacos. A side of rice and beans freshly made, topped off with a Mexican Coke. I truly enjoyed my experience at maize , along with the tacos , and the atmosphere. I highly recommend you come in and try it these delicious tacos!!!!!
5-star traditional tacos in a cool but acoustically challenging historic train station. Service and setting were okay. But those tacos — excellent. Generous filling of seasoned meat (recommended: chorizo and pastor/pork) on fresh-made corn tortillas with traditional cilantro and onion or American lettuce and tomato. Unlike many downtown restaurants, they have free, off-street parking (behind the depot, off the roundabout).
Best Mexican food in town. Try the burrito chicarron, and the churros!
Loved the food here! You won't go wrong choosing any main dish with steak or chicken. Rice wasn't as flavorful as I was hoping, but still tasted great. The horchata was not thick at all, but wasn't watered down either. Flavor was good and refreshing. Customer service was spectacular especially being short staffed with everything going on. I suggest you give it a try!
