Hard to believe this place is actually an incineration plant. Really interesting piece of architecture, and an amazing way to handle and incinerate most of Osaka's trash. They do free tours from time to time, so stay updated on their website if you would ever be interested in seeing the insides.

Another building by the amazing architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser! As I also mentioned in my review of the Maishima Sludge Centre, it's interesting to see but there isn't much else as it is in an industrial area. We wandered around, marvelling at the weird and interesting colours and shapes, and found ourselves inside the building somehow. We did get into a bit of trouble as you need to make a tour booking (couldn't find any information on how to do that unfortunately). Worth a look if you have the time.
