I went to the new opening of the pool and was very disappointed that it is now sectioned to 25m for swimmers, two changing rooms only, no shower, and no 50m length pool. I see all the money spent on renovation, but did they ask what the swimmers prefer?Why did they waste all that money? Could have used it to clean the dirty old streets of downtown where there is pee, vomit, century old chewing gum all over...you get the idea. Update: thank you for your kind response and I understand you have made the renovation to fix the leaks. I am glad others find it welcoming. However, as I used to swim 50 meters with the rest of the swimmers that are even faster than me, I can assure you that 2 lanes of 50m is not enough. I say goodbye to Mainz swimming pool. I am moving out of here.

Great mixture of outdoor grass park with nice big pool for swimming and relaxing. Also an indoor pool with different entrance fees is available. Costs 3.50 for the day for the outdoor pool. Highly recommended for a relaxing day. Also has a small outdoor kiosk.

Did not go. Arrived and told most of the pool closed due to repair. Would still charge full price for a small indoor section.

I love the time spent here. The pools here are well maintained and it is just a fun place to hang out with your friends in the water and just relax and have fun!
